Danyi's Children has been working to improve the quality of life for the children of Danyi N'Digbe, Togo, since 2003. Every penny raised goes directly to the kids! And thanks to your support, they now have their first real elementary school building, a library with computers and a fully-stocked nurse's office.

As of December 2007, Danyi's Children has joined the fight against malaria- the single leading cause of death in children five and under in Africa. To protect Danyi's children, we've teamed up with "Against Malaria" to provide every family in Danyi N'Digbe with Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs). Used by organizations like the Red Cross and UNICEF, these mosquito nets can help reduce the rate of malaria in villages by 60 to 90 percent.

As of August 2007, Danyi N'Digbe has a year-round water supply. Thanks to our corporate donors, we were able build a pump that supplies the entire village with water, even during the dry season. Previously, Danyi's women and children walked several kilometers for water.
